Drink Pink This October: Oysters Rock Hospitality Supports the Fight Against Breast Cancer

This October, pink is more than a color across Oysters Rock Hospitality. Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Café on St. Armands are raising funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer with Pink Drinks, a little Five Star Fun and a cause that hits close to home for our team.

Through October 31, $1 from every featured Pink Drink sold will be split evenly, benefiting local organization My Breast Friends 941 and supporting Regional Director Jared Weis’ Men Wear Pink campaign for the American Cancer Society.

At Anna Maria Oyster Bar, guests can Drink Pink with the Strawberry-Cucumber Margarita, featuring juicy strawberry and crisp cucumber with a tart finish and savory salt rim. For every Strawberry-Cucumber Margarita sold during October, 50 cents will benefit My Breast Friends 941 and 50 cents will support Jared’s Men Wear Pink campaign for the American Cancer Society.

It is an easy way to turn a margarita around the table into support for two organizations working to make a difference for people impacted by breast cancer.

At Café on St. Armands, the October Pink Drink is the St. Armands Spritz, made with Sarti Rosa, Prosecco and soda. Just like at Anna Maria Oyster Bar, $1 from every St. Armands Spritz sold will split, supporting My Breast Friends 941 and the American Cancer Society through Jared’s Men Wear Pink campaign.

The campaign is personal for the Oysters Rock Hospitality family. This year, Regional Director Jared Weis is proudly representing our team as a Men Wear Pink Ambassador, helping raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

Jared’s reason for wearing pink starts with his own family. His mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago, and because of early detection, she is still here today. He has also watched friends and other family members face cancer, making his Men Wear Pink campaign about more than wearing a color for a month. It is about standing behind the people fighting now, honoring those who have faced breast cancer and helping create a future where more families get more time together.

Guests at Anna Maria Oyster Bar will have another way to get involved throughout October with Think Pink. Roll Pink., putting a breast cancer awareness twist on Five Star Fun.

A $10 donation gets one roll of five pink dice, while a $15 donation gets two rolls, with each roll offering the chance to win something based on the combination.

Roll three of a kind and receive a free slice of Key Lime Pie or House Margarita. Roll a straight and receive a free starter, excluding oysters. A full house earns a free Pink Drink, four of a kind earns $15 off a $50 purchase, and five of a kind wins a $50 Anna Maria Oyster Bar gift card.

Most importantly, every donation makes a difference. Think Pink. Roll Pink. donations will also be split benefiting My Breast Friends 941 and Jared’s Men Wear Pink campaign for the American Cancer Society.

My Breast Friends 941 provides local support to people navigating breast cancer in the Sarasota-Manatee community, while Jared’s Men Wear Pink campaign supports the American Cancer Society and its work in breast cancer research, patient support and advocacy.

By dividing funds between the two, the October campaign allows Oysters Rock Hospitality and our guests to support the fight against breast cancer both right here at home and through the broader work of the American Cancer Society.

Whether you order a Strawberry-Cucumber Margarita at Anna Maria Oyster Bar, sip a St. Armands Spritz at Café on St. Armands, roll the pink dice or make a direct donation, each part of the campaign adds to something bigger.

Throughout October, we are proud to stand alongside Jared, My Breast Friends 941, the American Cancer Society and every person and family whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

Think Pink. Drink Pink. Roll Pink. Make a difference.
