Anna Maria Oyster Bar is Proud to Partner with the Pittsburgh Pirates

This year, Anna Maria Oyster Bar is excited to be part of the action through our partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

If you have been to a game at LECOM Park this spring, you may have already spotted our new sign inside the stadium. For our team, that has honestly been a pretty cool thing to see.

There is something fun about walking into a ballpark that has been part of the Bradenton community for generations and seeing the Anna Maria Oyster Bar name up there too. We are a locally owned restaurant group that has been serving the Bradenton Area for more than 30 years, so moments like that mean a lot to our team.

And yes, we have absolutely been texting pictures of it back and forth internally.

Pirates spring training has always been a major part of the season around here. Fans travel from all over the country to spend time in Bradenton during February and March, and many of them make a full vacation out of it. They hit the beach, explore Anna Maria Island, check out local restaurants, and spend afternoons at the ballpark watching baseball in the Florida sunshine.

That is part of what makes spring training in Bradenton different from a regular baseball season. It feels relaxed, local, and connected to the community around it.

For local businesses, it is also one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year. Restaurants throughout the area see returning visitors, baseball fans, and families coming through town every day during the season. You start hearing people talk Pirates baseball at the next table over, seeing jerseys in restaurants, and running into fans all over town.

Being able to partner with the Pirates during that season just feels like a natural fit for us.

At Anna Maria Oyster Bar, we have always focused on creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere where people can relax, enjoy good seafood, and have a good time with family and friends. Spring training season naturally brings a lot of that same energy to the area.

Some fans stop by before heading to a game. Others come in afterward to grab dinner and drinks. Some are visiting the Bradenton Area for the very first time, while others have been making the same spring training trip for years.

One of the coolest parts of this partnership has honestly just been seeing people notice the sign during games. We have already had guests send us photos from the stadium, tag us on social media, and mention spotting it while watching the Pirates play. It is a simple thing, but it is exciting for our team to see.

LECOM Park itself is such a big part of the Bradenton community too. The ballpark has been hosting Pirates spring training for decades and continues to bring visitors into the area every year. During the season, the entire surrounding area feels busier and more alive.

That extra activity helps support local restaurants, hotels, shops, bars, and small businesses across Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. Spring training season is not just exciting for baseball fans, it is important for the local community as a whole.

We are grateful to the Pittsburgh Pirates organization for the partnership and for continuing to make Bradenton their spring training home.

And if you are heading to LECOM Park this season, keep an eye out for our sign while you are there. We are still not over how cool it is seeing it up there.

Before or after the game, stop by Anna Maria Oyster Bar for fresh Gulf seafood, oysters, tropical cocktails, and a little Five Star Fun during your spring training visit to the Bradenton Area.
