Born in New Jersey but a Bradenton local since the age of two, Nicole has been part of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar family longer than some team members have been out of school. In fact, she’s celebrating 16+ years with AMOB—a journey that started with a “part-time” serving job and turned into a lifelong love for hospitality, connection, and community.
“This place is where I grew up,” Nicole says. “It’s more than a job—it’s where I met my husband, became a mom, built lifelong friendships, and created a second family. I’ve loved and lost coworkers along the way, and through all the changes, AMOB has been a constant.”
Known for her loyalty, energy, and sweet tooth, Nicole is always on the move—just ask her cats, Minnie & Daisy, who willll tell you she only slows down when it’s time to sleep. Her go-to coffee order is an iced caramel cold brew with oat milk (by the gallon, please), and her go-to meal? Lightly blackened, center-cut salmon well done—or the Carolina Chicken Sandwich when she’s feeling spicy.
One of her most treasured guest memories? Mr. & Mrs. Forssell—regulars who became like family, visiting her weekly when she worked as a server.
