Meet Our Director of Purchasing, Mike Ronan!

Born in Boston and raised across California, Virginia, Minnesota, and now Florida, Mike brings a world of experience—and a deep-rooted passion for hospitality—to the Oysters Rock Hospitality team. A graduate of California State University, Chico, he has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry, working in both operations and purchasing for major names like Houlihan’s, Disneyland Resort, Palm Restaurants, Ford’s Restaurants, and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Inspired by his father’s career in the food and hospitality industry, Mike found his calling early and never looked back. “It’s been a wonderful path,” he says. “I’ve made lifelong friends—and even met my wife—thanks to this industry.”

Mike’s most rewarding moments come from seeing the impact of great hospitality firsthand—whether it’s glowing reviews from local food critics or heartfelt feedback from guests who walk away raving about their experience.

When he’s not working, Mike enjoys a regular coffee with room for cream, sweet treats over salty snacks, and anything that brings family together. He’s most excited by time with his grandchildren, and he’s got his eyes on a few big items on the bucket list: a trip to Ireland with golf included, a Notre Dame football game in South Bend, and attending The Masters golf tournament.
