Born and raised in Bradenton, Florida, Grant is a proud graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School and the University of South Florida. His hospitality journey began in 2016 at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar Ellenton location, where he worked until 2021 before sharpening his skills in fine dining at Meat Market in Hyde Park during college. Today, he’s back with the Oysters Rock Hospitality family, bringing his experience and passion to the main office.
Hospitality runs deep in Grant’s roots—both of his parents worked in the industry and encouraged him and his brother to do the same. That early experience helped shape his work ethic, perspective, and personality. “It’s been a large part of who I am,” he says. “It’s taught me valuable lessons about all aspects of life.”
Among his favorite memories in guest service? A mustache compliment from John Cena and spotting Antonio Brown eating French fries with a spoon—both unforgettable in their own way.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Grant sipping a caramel double shot cappuccino, planning a dream trip to Japan or Spain, or making time to play with his very opinionated dog.
