Meet Our Restaurant Accounting Manager, Amanda Harms!

Born and raised in Bradenton, Florida, Amanda is as local as they come—and so is her love for the hospitality industry. Her journey with Oysters Rock Hospitality began over a decade ago, and she’s been a driving force ever since. While working with the AMOB team, Amanda completed the Culinary Arts program at MTC (formerly MTI) and earned her Associate of Science degree in Hospitality Management from State College of Florida.

Her passion for food and hospitality started early. “As a kid, I asked for a new play kitchen every year for Christmas,” she says. “Eventually, that turned into real cooking, baking, and even creating my own recipes.”

Amanda’s energy is unmatched (just ask her pets—who claim she’s always the loudest one in the house, yet constantly tells everyone else to be quiet). Her favorite kind of morning starts with an Iced Butter Pecan coffee from Dunkin’—extra cream, extra sugar—and her favorite kind of guest memory? Witnessing a couple get engaged at the same table where they had their first date.

Whether she’s making magic in the kitchen or planning something fun with her kids, Amanda finds joy in creating experiences for others—and even more in seeing her children smile.
