Meet Our Sr. DOO, Abby Elliott!

Originally from Ocean City, Maryland, Abby Elliott relocated to Florida in 1985 to attend the University of Central Florida, where she earned her degree. With a career deeply rooted in customer service, Abby has held roles ranging from Assistant Resort Manager and Flight Attendant to Operational VP for a Property Management Company. Her passion for the hospitality industry stems from a desire to create meaningful, memorable experiences for guests while utilizing her strengths in communication, problem-solving, and multitasking.

Abby thrives in energetic environments and believes that exceptional guest service is about more than just meeting expectations—it’s about creating moments that leave a lasting impact. One of her most memorable experiences as a Flight Attendant involved comforting a distressed passenger during turbulence, only to discover she was going into early labor. Abby’s quick thinking and compassionate nature helped ensure the passenger’s safe arrival at the hospital, highlighting her dedication to putting people first in any situation.

As a guest herself, Abby cherishes moments of thoughtful service, like celebrating her father’s birthday at Rainforest Café, where the staff created a special experience through subtle yet meaningful gestures.

When she’s not making a difference in the hospitality industry, Abby enjoys the company of her cat, Lilly, who would describe her as dependable, loving, and the household disciplinarian.
